Cyberguard Systems Sdn Bhd, incorporated in 2003, has regional support centers in Penang (Headquarters), Selangor, Johor and Kelantan and thus far has been engaged in the installations of various security and surveillance systems throughout Malaysia for more than 50 establishments (please see list attached), such as Ibu Pejabat Polis Seberang Perai Utara and Timur Laut Pulau Pinang, Bukit Jambul Complex Penang, Prangin Mall Penang, Asian Supply Base Labuan, Gleneagles Hospital Penang, Loh Guan Lye Specialist Centre Penang, Singapore Airlines Office Penang and Universiti Sains Malaysia.

The major milestone project that has been undertaken by the company was in August 2007, when it was awarded a contract by Majlis Perbandaran Pulau Pinang (MPPP) to lease to MPPP for a period of 5 years a wireless security surveillance system called the Penang Integrated Public Safety (“PIPS”) System which comprise of 31 high-end day/night cameras and 3 control rooms which were linked via the 4.9 Gigahertz public safety broadband wireless. Similar camera systems were being used worldwide by prime establishment such as in the Mecca Holy City (80 cameras), Hong Kong Police (70 cameras), Hong Kong ASD Government (8 cameras), Singapore Police (91 cameras).

To complement the requirements of the Penang Police under PIPS, the company has installed a surveillance system in the Police vehicle for mobile monitoring which would enable the Police to conduct on-site surveillance for specific tasks. The PIPS project, which has recently been commissioned on 15 February 2008 was leased to MPPP for RM5.8 million over a period of 5 years (60 months), which would be paid by MPPP on quarterly basis from the date of comissioning of the system.

The company has in December 2006 extended its regional coverage beyond Peninsular Malaysia to install wireless CCTV surveillance system for Labuan Supply Base, Sabah which is the primary supply base for the petroleum industry in Sabah, with installation of 15 day/night cameras via broadband wireless video transmission. This contract comes with a maintenance programme which the company has been providing since the commissioning of the system.

Apart from carrying out surveillance projects, the company has also been awarded comprehensive maintenance contract by the Police in Penang for Lokap Balai Polis Ibu Pejabat, Lokap Balai Polis Bandar Baru Air Itam, Lokap Balai Polis Central Penang, Lokap Balai Polis Lebuh Pantai, Lokap Balai Polis Tanjung Tokong, Lokap Balai Polis Butterworth, Lokap Ibu Pejabat Polis Daerah Barat Daya, Lokap Balai Polis Seberang Jaya, Ibu Pejabat Polis Daerah Seberang Perai Selatan, Lokap Balai Polis Nibong Tebal, Lokap Balai Polis Bayan Lepas, Lokap Balai Polis Jalan Petani, Bangunan Ibu Pejabat Polis Kontinjen for their security systems with more than 200 cameras.
